SUBSCRIBE on iTUNES This week, Aaron and No Class Kris discuss a disappointing horror/sci-fi double feature: THE CURSE (1987) and THE CURSE II: THE BITE (1989). In one, a farmer blames God's hand for cursing his farm with mutations and monstrosities. In the other, a man blames his murderous actions on his own hand, which is mutating into a snake. A living, crawling hell on earth. SUBSCRIBE on iTUNES After discovering a mutual dislike for spiders, your hosts Aaron and No Class Kris decided to devote Screamwave #32 to a brief look at some horror films and horror comedies in which death comes creeping on eight furry legs. In this episode, Aaron and Kris briefly discuss the William Shatner vs. Tarantulas cult classic KINGDOM OF THE SPIDERS (1977), the Frank Marshall-directed ARACHNOPHOBIA (1990), and the CGI B-movie throwback EIGHT LEGGED FREAKS (2002). Spiders even crawl into this week’s installment of Earth and Beyond when Aaron and Kris talk about a man whose fear of spiders just might be the death of him. Screamwave puts spiders aside, however, for a look at the cute and quirky side of strange animals: a cat with a penchant for thievery. All this plus listener feedback awaits you in the spider’s web.
